Before you rebuild, find out what is actually making people hesitate.

Most rebuilds start with the wrong question. Here is the one that saves the most time and money.

Most owners start a rebuild by asking what their new website should look like. The more useful question is what their current website is making people quietly uncertain about. The look of a website is often the smallest contributor to whether someone enquires. The signals, structure, language and clarity around the offer do far more of the work, and they are usually fixable without a full rebuild. Before you commission anything, spend an honest hour with the homepage, one service page and the enquiry path, in the order a customer would meet them. Read each section as someone who has never met you. Note the first moment you have to guess. Most websites have three or four of these moments. Removing them changes everything that follows.
